Description

We are partnering with a well-established firm located near Schoharie, NY that is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned tax professional looking for a collaborative, client-focused environment with room for growth.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns

Assist with tax planning, projections, and advisory services

Maintain knowledge of federal and state tax regulations

Communicate directly with clients to address tax questions and provide guidance

Perform tax research and stay up to date with changes in tax laws

Support and mentor junior staff as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's degree preferred)

CPA required or in active pursuit of certification

3-5 years of experience in tax preparation and review (public accounting experience highly preferred)

Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations

Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
