What will you be doing?

Circana is seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team within the headquarter controller group. This role supports day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strong internal controls.

Job Responsibilities

Support the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and

accurate accounting entries.

Assist with external financial reporting, including Management

Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) and supporting documents.

Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

(GAAP), conduct accounting research, and prepare position memoranda.

Perform global consolidation tasks, including intercompany billings,

reconciliations, and tie-outs.

Analyze profit and loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and income

statements for assigned divisions.

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support annual financial

audits.

Manage lease queries to ensure compliance with Accounting Standards

Codification (ASC) 842, which governs lease accounting.

Conduct variance analysis, identifying root causes of significant or

unexpected variances.

Reconcile and review international monthly financial results,

ensuring appropriate documentation.

Collaborate with external auditors by preparing supporting schedules

and work papers.

Qualifications

Required

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.

Bachelor\'s degree in accounting from an accredited university.

3-5 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in the

technology or service industries.

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

(GAAP) and internal controls.

Experience with financial reporting, including Management

Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) and external reporting requirements.

Experience performing financial analysis, variance analysis, and

reviewing financial statements.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in other

Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational

skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to

collaborate across departments.

Ability to manage projects to timely completion.

Preferred

Experience at a \"Big Four\" accounting firm (Deloitte,

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Ernst & Young (EY), or KPMG).

Familiarity with lease accounting standards, including

Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 842.

Experience supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

as a Controller\'s Group representative.

NetSuite experience.

Familiarity with Workday Adaptive Insights.
