an opportunity in Milan, IL 61264
Position Title:** Safety Operations
Location: Milan, IL 61264
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12+ months contract
Job Type: [FULL TIME/CONTRACT/HYBRID/ON-SITE]
Shift: 2nd Shift position. Hours are Mon-Fri 2:30PM-11:30PM
Pay Range: \$30/hr to \$31.69per hour
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to
factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does
not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid
time off, per diem, etc.).
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This role will serve as a \"swing-shift\" safety professional to support
the Client North American Parts distribution center. This is a 24-7
operation, and this role will support the 1st shift Safety team, as well
as provide coverage for half of the 2nd shift operation. The position
will complete accident, incident, and near miss investigations and work
with appropriate parties to develop and implement corrective actions.
This role will help develop Client Required and OSHA compliance training
as well as deploy all required training to the 2nd shift operation. This
role will also support the management of mobile equipment certifications
and certification tracking. This role will also serve as a general
resource for risk identification, auditing, and control to the 2nd shift
NAPDC operation.
SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and experience in a warehousing or manufacturing
environment with a strong safety background is required
Safety Degree and/or very strong manufacturing safety experience
MS Office suite
CSP accreditation preferred
