Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of land surveys of all @types. Prepare and process the required field design survey work and construction staking survey work and other surveys and daily survey logs as part of public and private commercial, residential, and industrial development projects based on clients intent/vision, budget, timeline, jurisdictional requirements. Perform complex surveying calculations using engineering calculator, laptop computer, personal computer, and graphics software, such as AutoCAD C3D and ArcGIS. Provide survey information for Geographic Information System (GIS). Prepare finished grade sheets, topographic maps, records of survey, ALTA Surveys, corner staking, etc., and other survey reports. Compute geodetic measurements and interpret survey data to determine positions, shapes, and elevations of geomorphic and topographic features. Research historic maps, land records, previous surveys, and land title information as needed. Responsible for all aspects of survey projects including maintaining quality assurance, project priorities, budgeting, backlog. Ensure proper maintenance of all survey/company equipment. Communicate effectively with both the customer and survey team. Meet multiple project deadlines.
Requirements: Bachelor Degree in civil engineering, geodetic engineering, or land surveying + 1 year of job experience.
