As a Direct of Account Management, you will effectively manage seven direct reports responsible for the daily medical, dental, and clinical activity of one of UnitedHealthcare's UMR customers. To perform this role, you will supervise a team of strategic account executive and field account managers, pinpoint challenges, identify and modify for process improvements.

Primary Responsibilities:

Build and manage a highly effective account management team for UMR business

Responsible for execution of customer satisfaction and retention

Work directly with leadership, project managers and operation teams

Recruit, hire, and train best in class Strategic Account Executives and Field Account Managers

Solid influence, collaboration and listening skills

Proven ability to navigate an often ambiguous and complex organization to resolve customer issues

Collaborate with and advise of customer success and enablement

Provide regular business updates to internal stakeholders

Superior verbal, written and presentation skills

Sales insurance license maintained by law

Required Qualifications:

Sales Insurance License Maintained by Law

3+ years of experience healthcare account management in the Employee Benefit space

2+ years leading an account management team

Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience working with brokers/consultants

2+ years of people management experience

UMR or TPA experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $90,000 to $195,000 annually based on full-time employment. This role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
