Proven experience as welder and/or fitter.
Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures. (Flux core)
Experience in using electrical or manual tools. (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing. (face-shield, gloves etc.)
Deftness and attention to detail.
Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus.
Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs over shoulder height occasionally.
Be able to speak and understand enough English to accurately follow basic instructions.
Work required hours to help meet production schedule and satisfy the needs of internal customers.
Perform other duties as required by management.
Shift Schedule:
1 st shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm
Friday - 5:00 am - 1:30 pm
2 nd shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:30 pm - 2:00 am
Friday - 1:30 pm - 12:00 am
