Department is hiring a Mechanic to keep our fleet of vehicles and heavy
equipment in top shape. This is your chance to join a team that values

excellent pay and benefits. What You\'ll Do: Diagnose and repair diesel
Tier 4 engines, drive trains, electrical systems, hydraulics, and
related components. Overhaul engines, transmissions, and other essential
systems. Perform seasonal maintenance and prepare vehicles for varying
weather conditions. Weld and fabricate using arc, wire feed, and gas
equipment. Conduct on-site service calls and assist in managing parts
inventory. Safely operate and maintain county-owned equipment. Pay &
Benefits Hourly wage: \$26.36+/hour (based on experience) Generous

What We\'re Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent with
additional diesel mechanic training. Experience repairing diesel
engines, maintaining heavy equipment, and performing
welding/fabrication. Valid Wisconsin CDL with air brake, combination
vehicle, and tanker endorsements. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and
perform physical tasks in varied weather conditions. Dependable,
safety-minded, and able to work both independently and as part of a
team. Working Conditions: Work indoors in a modern, state-of-the-art
facility and outdoors as needed. Exposure to noise, dust, grease, and
fumes typical of heavy equipment repair. Use of protective equipment
