Office Assistant/Receptionist

Office Assistant/Receptionist needed in a busy housing office in Elmira, NY. MUST be able to:

Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner

Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers

Schedule appointments and maintain work orders for maintenance

Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, etc..

Maintain office supplies and ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable

Provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors, and employees

Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries

Assist with basic computer tasks such as data entry and document formatting (WORD, EXCEL, Adobe, etc.)

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Temp to possible perm ~ Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm

$ 18.00 - 19.00 depending on work experience
