Job Title: Operator 1, Manufacturing

Job Description

Join our dynamic Assembly department where you will operate processing and packaging equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that batches are manufactured accurately by weighing, measuring, and checking raw materials. This role requires the operation of both semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment while performing in-process sampling and testing to ensure specifications are met. Safety compliance and adherence to company procedures are paramount.

Responsibilities

Operate processing and packaging equipment, including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, filtration systems, and other packaging equipment.

Weigh, measure, and check raw materials using computer interfaces to ensure proper materials and quantities are used in batches.

Calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.

Perform in-process sampling and testing to ensure batches meet specification.

Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures.

Follow all safe practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Complete and maintain quality records in compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and SOPs.

Maintain equipment and lab room cleanliness and proper operating conditions.

Exercise judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions.

Essential Skills

Experience in assembly, packaging, and manufacturing.

Familiarity with general labor in production environments.

Ability to operate and troubleshoot processing and packaging equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to follow SOPs and safety regulations.

Experience with GMPs and maintaining quality records.

Capacity to analyze situations requiring a review of identifiable factors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of EUGENE, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
