Job Description
This position serves as a legal analyst for the Disciplinary Evaluation Section within the Legal Division of the Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA). This position is responsible for reviewing investigative findings, drafting administrative documents, and analyzing legislation and other legal matters related to the Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act (MMFLA), Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act (MRTMA), and Michigan Medical Marijuana Act (MMMA). Further, this position is responsible for actively managing its caseload of administrative cases and ensuring determinations on investigative findings are made timely and within the Division's established metrics.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to quickly adapt to policy and priority changes, have a sharp legal focus with meticulous attention to details, appreciate a rapid paced environment, possess strong interpersonal and communications skills, and is open to change and growth. Prior experience with/as a practicing attorney is preferred.

Paid Parental Leave:Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leaveimmediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
Paid Holidays:Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year's Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
