Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description

Join an esteemed women's health organization dedicated to providing high-quality care. This role offers the opportunity to support physicians in a dynamic and fast-paced medical office environment, focusing on patient interactions and care.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians with all patient interactions, ensuring compassionate and efficient service.

Room patients and conduct vital checks.

Communicate with patients by calling them, explaining test and lab results, and addressing medication questions or refills by contacting pharmacies.

Schedule appointments and manage call center operations to optimize patient care.

Essential Skills

2-3 years of experience in a Medical Assistant role.

Experience in medical office settings.

Willingness to obtain CMA/RMA certification within 6 months.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in women's health or OB/GYN is a plus.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Environment

You will work in busy and high-volume OB/GYN or women's health offices located in West Hartford. The dress code requires scrubs, closed-toed shoes, and a professional appearance, as interfacing with patients is a key aspect of this role. Working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, with a late day on Wednesdays until 7:30 PM. The environment is part of a large and growing women's health organization, offering potential upward mobility and growth.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
