Description

We are looking for an experienced a buyer to join a site sanitation services company for a 100% remote role. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to vendor management, purchasing strategies, and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to optimizing procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

Gather and evaluate due diligence information from newly approved vendors to ensure compliance with regional standards.

Verify and confirm two-way receipts for goods and services, ensuring all deliveries meet required specifications.

Assess procurement processes to identify areas for efficiency improvements, cost savings, and enhanced compliance.

Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive supplier performance and address any arising issues.

Monitor adherence to procurement regulations and organizational policies, while preparing reports to measure performance metrics.

Collaborate with departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to align procurement strategies with broader company goals.

Place and oversee purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery in alignment with procurement guidelines.

Review and approve the receipt of goods and services, ensuring proper reconciliation of invoices and delivered items.

Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support procurement operations.

Requirements - Proficiency in procurement tools such as Concur for managing transactions and workflows.

Solid experience in purchasing processes, including issuing and managing purchase orders.

Strong background in vendor management and procurement compliance.

Advanced skills in Excel, including the ability to work with complex formulas for data analysis.

Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy in documentation and reporting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with vendors and internal teams.

Demonstrated ability to analyze procurement data and recommend process improvements.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
