Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Shafter, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of billing processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in accounts receivable and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Handle accounts receivable tasks, including following up with clients on outstanding invoices.

Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Process accounts payable transactions efficiently and in compliance with company policies.

Manage billing operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.

Input financial data into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail.

Review and process invoices for payment, verifying amounts and resolving discrepancies.

Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel to streamline operations.

Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to address queries and resolve financial issues.

Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation.

Support other accounting functions as needed to ensure smooth financial operations. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

Proficiency in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

Strong skills in account reconciliation and invoice processing.

Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication abilities for interacting with clients and team members.

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and record-keeping.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of general accounting principles and best practices.
