Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Woodbury, New York. In this role, you will handle essential accounting tasks, including data entry, order processing, and financial record management, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled in managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

Process and reconcile accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, to maintain accurate financial records.

Perform data entry tasks to ensure proper documentation and timely updates of accounting information.

Prepare and issue invoices while verifying billing accuracy.

Assist with order entry and ensure all client details are accurately added to the system.

Collaborate with the sales team to reconfirm orders and address any discrepancies.

Coordinate product preparation and shipment for efficient order fulfillment.

Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage financial data.

Generate reports and summaries using Microsoft Excel to support financial analysis.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all accounting operations.

Support other administrative tasks as needed to maintain workflow efficiency. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Proficiency in invoice processing and billing procedures.

Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Familiarity with accounting software, including Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred but not required.
