Your Role at KIK
The Distribution Operations Manager will support the Distribution Site Leader with administration, receiving, shipping, inventory accuracy, warehouse management, and shipping activities of our Conyers, GA distribution facility. This role requires a flexible work schedule that could cover multiple shifts. The Distribution Operations Manager will support efforts related to developing a high functioning culture that enables excellence in safety, quality, efficiency, employee satisfaction, overall customer service/satisfaction, training, to achieve company goals. The Distribution Operations Manager will lead with the following positive people principles; active listening, empathy, foresight, stewardship, commitment to the growth of people, and building community. A leader who will ultimately treat others as they would wish to be treated and leads with trust.
What You'll Be Doing
Supervises warehouse workers in their day-to-day tasks related to receiving, storing, cycle counting, shipping and quality checks.
Monitors the accuracy and efficiencies of warehouse related activities involving receiving, storing, cycle counting, shipping and quality controls of products and orders.
Monitors warehouse metrics and performance
Supports action plans for warehouses performance not meeting the required level of service
Assist in Training warehouse operations personnel
Supports actions related to cycle counting process to ensure meeting company established goals.
Participate in annual physical inventory process requirements each year to include pre-inventory prep, actual, and post inventory analysis and corrective actions to support improvements.
Positively influences the Monthly P+L accountability to cost company cutting measures.
Participates in on-call and after-hours support
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Ensures all operations personnel adhere to industry safety protocols and comply with OSHA or other governmental regulations
Hazmat experience a plus

What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in business, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management preferred, High School Diploma GED Required.
10+ years of Senior Distribution Operations Leadership (Manager of managers)
Excellent understanding of financial reporting that includes P&L and Balance Sheet
Leadership expertise in distribution, transportation, inventory control, facilities and customer service.
Strong practical knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies applied to distribution including kaizen leadership.
Must possess a high level of proficiency in MS Office, specifically proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Proven experience in SAP and WMS
Ability to work under pressure, to process shipments and deliver/route materials according to tight time schedules.
Ability to work independently and maintain good working relationships with managers, co-workers, and employees.
Understanding of multiple shipping methods - Parcel, LTL, FTL , Ocean and Intermodal
Must be a self-motivated, seasoned professional who is process-focused as well as results-oriented
