The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Business Solutions:
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual within the RTX Enterprise Services - Controllership and Compliance team. This organization offers an opportunity for an individual to be part of a growing accounting department and develop processes to sustain flexibility as business needs change. Job responsibilities are subject to change based upon alignment of processes within this developing organization.
What You Will do:
Responsible for oversight and approval of monthly journal entries, closing activities and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash account reconciliations, accrual reconciliations, investment account reconciliations and others.
Investigate cash account out of balances and discrepancies with the team in a timely and effective manner.
Provide general accounting support for the PWMIL F-135 International entities managed by the ES accounting team.
Provide yearly statutory audit support for the PWMIL F-135 International entities.
Responsible for growing and developing a team of 6 accountants through training, coaching, and creating opportunities while ensuring an positive work environment.
Drive process improvements across entities and work closely with other Business Unit leads to create value for RTX by eliminating waste and increasing efficiency.
Contribute to the Enterprise Services organization by bringing innovative solutions within the knowledge base and work of the department and team.
Provide excellent customer service to Collins, Pratt & Whitney, and/or Corporate accounts, including answering questions and responding to ad hoc requests as required.
Qualifications You Must Have:
This role typically requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years' experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business Or an advanced degree and 5 or more years relevant experience
At least five years' experience with and knowledge of US GAAP Accounting practices
At least 5 years' experience with month end close procedures and reporting
Qualifications We Prefer:
CPA/MBA is a plus
At least 5 years' experience with and knowledge of SAP, HFM and OneStream
Strong proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and database reporting skills
Previous team leadership experience and excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills
Proven experience in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and ability to maintain a service-oriented demeanor with professionalism in sensitive and challenging situations
Proven verbal and written communication skills, good business acumen and ability to brief levels of management
Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills to problem solve and recommend comprehensive solutions

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
