Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader

Job Description

The Warehouse Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing the picking, packing, loading, and unloading of orders within a dynamic distribution center.

Responsibilities

Pick orders efficiently and accurately.

Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks.

Ensure boxes are packed securely for shipment.

Maintain inventory control and conduct cycle counts.

Manage shipping and receiving processes.

Supervise a small team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Essential Skills

2-3 years of lead experience

Proven experience in warehouse lead or supervisory roles.

Proficiency in forklift operation.

Strong skills in order picking and inventory management.

Capability to lift 50 pounds or more.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with RF scanners and pallet jacks.

Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures.

Prior experience in a distribution center setting is preferred.

Work Environment

This role is based in a converted distribution center, previously a manufacturing facility. The environment is clean and organized, with shifts available from 7am to 3:30pm or 3pm to 11:30pm. The second shift will initially train on the first shift before transitioning. Steel-toed shoes are required as protective clothing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
