Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Maintenance Manager for the Hampton Inn & Suites in Xenia, OH.

The Maintenance Manager is a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of our facilities and equipment within the hotel. This position is responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies that minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of our assets. By utilizing preventive maintenance techniques, the Maintenance Manager will ensure that all systems, including electrical and mechanical, are functioning optimally. Ultimately, this role is vital in supporting our commitment to providing a safe and efficient environment for our employees and clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Hotel Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor

In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations

Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems; hotel industry experience is a plus

Experience in administrative processes (e.g. budgeting, performance management)

Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly

Problem-solving aptitude

Excellent organizational and leadership skills

High school diploma or equivalent; degree from a vocational school preferred (not required)

CPO Certification (Can be obtained after hire)

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the maintenance of the hotel, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all systems and equipment.

Conduct regular inspections and audits of maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.

Manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting expenses and optimizing resource allocation.

Skills:

The required skills in maintenance management will be utilized daily to ensure that all equipment operates at peak performance, reducing the risk of unexpected failures. Preventive maintenance skills will be essential for developing schedules that proactively address potential issues before they escalate. Additionally, familiarity with maintenance in a busy hotel environment will enable the candidate to oversee the upkeep of the physical environment, ensuring a safe and productive workplace.
