Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Service professional to serve as both the Customer Service Lead and Office Manager at our Newark location. This dual-role position requires a proactive, organized individual who can lead by example, manage day-to-day office operations, and handle complex customer inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Serve as the on-site lead for the Newark customer service team.

Manage and support five key customer service functions: Inbound and Receiving, Order Entry, Appointment Setting, Driver Window Check-In, and all other Customer Inquiries.

Act as the go-to person for escalated or complex customer issues.

Ensure smooth office operations, including supplies, scheduling, and coordination with other departments.

Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability.

Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Essential Skills

Troubleshooting, warehouse, inventory, administrative assistance, administration, customer service, office manager/administrative expertise.

Ability to handle complex and high-priority customer inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and urgency.

Experience leading a team, providing day-to-day guidance, and resolving issues.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks.

Proficient in order entry, order processing, Microsoft Office, administrative support, and data entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of customer service experience.

Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Comfortable with multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
