Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Encino, California. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate financial data.

Prepare and post journal entries for a variety of financial transactions.

Assist with month-end closing procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to streamline workflows.

Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and practices.

Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies as they arise.

Support audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with a focus on accounts payable and receivable.

Proficiency in bank reconciliations and general ledger management.

Strong knowledge of journal entries and month-end close procedures.

Familiarity with accounting software, including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
