Description

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team in Huber Heights, Ohio. As part of a healthcare office, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive a welcoming and efficient experience. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic medical environment while honing your administrative and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

Welcome patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures.

Verify patient insurance information and ensure accuracy in records.

Manage the check-out process, including scheduling follow-up appointments as needed.

Handle incoming calls, emails, and faxes professionally and efficiently.

Maintain organized and accurate filing systems for patient records and office documentation.

Utilize Excel and Word for data entry, reporting, and correspondence.

Perform basic office duties such as copying, scanning, and document preparation.

Uphold confidentiality standards and ensure sensitive information is securely managed.

Address patient inquiries and resolve concerns with excellent customer service skills.

Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth office operations.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical office

Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for administrative tasks.

Experience with medical insurance verification and related processes.

Ability to manage email and fax communication effectively.

Knowledge of basic office equipment, including copying and scanning.

Familiarity with filing systems and record organization.

High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
