Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food Operations Manager 3 to support Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA. This role will support a team of 75 employees and will be a trusted advisor that's central to the client partnership. The lead candidate should have experience in patient services and retail operations . The role will have direct accountability for operational excellence-achieved by delivering on our service commitments that are: Predictable, Reliable, and Repeatable.

What You'll Do

have oversight of day-to-day operations of all food operations

deliver high quality food service

effectively lead the team through all Sodexo managers and hospital front line staff

ensure delivery of high quality food services including cafeteria retail, patient meals, and any catering needs that may arise

achieve company and client targets and goals to ensure HACCP, regulatory and Sodexo standards compliance

develop and maintain client and customer relationships

What You Bring

Have healthcare leadership experience in an acute care setting.

Has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively.

Has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service.

Can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degreeor equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 yearswork experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
