Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Finance Director, Technology & Data Solutions to play a pivotal role in transforming our finance operations and enabling next-level digital innovation. This senior leadership role will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of technology solutions and data governance across our finance functions. As the Technology & Data Solutions Lead, you will oversee and manage the implementation of S4 Hana and other technical solutions (non-S4) while ensuring that our data governance frameworks, digital transformation efforts, and analytical capabilities are aligned with business goals. You will drive the integration of solutions that enable data-driven decision-making, streamline operations, and enhance overall patient-centric value creation. You will be responsible for:
IM S 4 Hana Implementation & Management: Own and lead the S4 Hana implementation within the finance function, ensuring alignment with the organization's broader digital transformation strategy and business objectives. Coordinate with internal and external teams (e.g., JJT, Accenture, technology partners) to ensure successful S4 Hana deployment, from design to execution. Ensure S4 Hana modules are tailored to meet the specific needs of the Innovative Medicine Finance Transformation program, optimizing finance operations across planning, execution, and reporting. Oversee ongoing enhancements and optimizations within the S4 Hana ecosystem, working closely with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements. Be the safe-guardian of achieving a high level of standardization in future E2E processes. Establish and lead a standardization board for the respective processes.
Technology Solutions (Non-S4): Lead the development and integration of non-S4 technical solutions that complement the finance transformation efforts and drive operational efficiency. Identify, evaluate, and manage the implementation of technology solutions (e.g., AI, automation tools, RPA) to enhance finance processes, reporting, and decision-making capabilities. Ensure that new technical solutions are seamlessly integrated into existing infrastructure, collaborating closely with internal IT teams and external partners to ensure smooth deployment. Drive the evaluation and selection of third-party tools, platforms, and technologies that align with our finance transformation goals.
Data Governance . Establish data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility across finance systems, including S4 Hana and other digital tools. Lead efforts to enhance data-driven decision-making, ensuring data quality and accuracy for effective financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of digital and data systems, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and drive continuous improvement.
Deployment & Change Management: Lead the deployment of all technology solutions (S4 Hana, non-S4, digital tools) within the finance function, ensuring timely and efficient execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and business partners, to ensure smooth and successful deployment of new solutions, technologies, and processes. Drive change management initiatives, working with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of new tools, systems, and processes across the organization. Develop and oversee training programs for teams to ensure they are equipped to effectively utilize new technologies and systems, fostering a culture of agility and innovation.
Qualifications/Requirements:
12-14 Years Work Experience in leading technology solutions within finance, including S4 Hana, data governance, and analytics.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Technology or Data Analytics) preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., S4 Hana certifications, data governance, project management) are highly desirable.
S4 Hana Expertise: In-depth knowledge of S4 Hana modules, E2E processes, implementation best practices, and integration strategies. with proven experience in managing large-scale deployments.
Technology Solutions Leadership: Expertise in evaluating and implementing non-S4 technical solutions , including AI, RPA, EXA, and analytics tools, to drive business value.
Data Governance & Compliance : Proven ability to establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity, security, and accessibility in global systems.
Project & Program Management : Strong experience managing and leading large-scale, complex, enterprise technology technology deployments , ensuring alignment with business goals and on-time delivery.
Digital Transformation & Data Solutions : Strong background in driving digital transformation and leveraging data solutions to improve finance decision-making and business outcomes
Change Leadership: Ability to drive successful change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new technologies and processes.
Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure) and third-party tools used in finance analytics and automation.
Location: Global role, location could be within EMEA, NA or LATAM.
