How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
This individual will report to the Vice President, Technical Supply Chain Management and responsible for performing advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative duties. The candidate will work closely with Delta leaders and others as deemed necessary. This position requires broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of Delta's programs, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Highly sophisticated in multitasking and deadline driven and possess the ability to manage multiple high-level projects.
Well organized, agile and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people and programs.
High volume calendar management.
Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally meaningful.
Filing, documenting, database work, and preparing invoices, reports, decks, memos, letters, and other documents, applying MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
The ability to lead and maintain multiple schedules, meetings, handling travel arrangements, travel itineraries and participate in related arrangements.
Greeting visitors (internal and external customers), receiving telephone calls, interacting with Delta leaders and their staffs, working on travel and ticket issues, and preparing responses to correspondence containing routine and sometimes complex inquiries are typical tasks associated with the position.
Supporting with expense reports through Concur.
Scheduling and ordering lunch for various meetings with customers.
The ability to interact with the office staff (at all levels) with a focus on team cohesion.
Ability to pivot to different projects with ease, proactive, resourceful, and succeed efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Act with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
High School Diploma, GED or High School Equivalency.
3 plus years of relevant experience.
2 years formal training may substitute for up to 2 years of experience.
Providing various support to leaders within the team for meetings, projects, and other related tasks.
Possesses strong leadership skills in navigating and resolving ambiguity, ensuring the implementation of effective solutions that align with organizational goals.
Ability to produce, track and monitor multiple deliverables with overlapping deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation, consistently driving projects and tasks forward independently.
Ability and willingness to support industry-based Corporate Events/Conferences.
Strong proficiency with MS Office programs, including Excel and PowerPoint, and advanced skills with Word and Outlook.
Must be team-oriented and able to coordinate activities across multiple departments working closely with administrative assistants in other areas.
Must have the interpersonal skills necessary to direct the activities of others.
High level of confidentiality.
Detail skills are needed to ensure information is accurate and correct, documents are grammatically correct, and work is completed promptly.
Ability to coordinate the schedules of multiple aspects of projects completed by separate staff members or vendors is required.
Organizational/leadership skills necessary to develop office procedures, prioritize and schedule work activities of self and others and balance multiple assignments with limited direction.
Knowledge of corporate business processes and procedures such as expense reporting, purchasing, and departmental budget.
Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

Bachelor's degree.
Knowledge of Delta travel platforms including Delta.com, TravelNet and/or Delta Term.
