Senior Engineering Project Manager

Our client is seeking a direct hire, Senior Project Manager, to manage Large-scale fire alarm installations. This person will be managing projects that typically take 2 years; usually 3 levels (basement, 1st, 2nd floor) with 4-5 buildings.

This person can come from anywhere in the United States, but needs to be able to be onsite in either Denver, CO or Oakland, CA. Able to travel home 2x monthly.

Job Title: Senior Engineering Project Manager

Location: Denver, CO

Pay Range: $150K-$170K + 15% Bonus

What's the Job?

Grow the business, manage change, and meet contractual obligations.

Be a self-starter and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a lean administrative environment.

Manage and influence the activities of various team members to ensure the contractual deliverables are met within the required timeframes.

Coordinate, plan, schedule and track in detail the implementation of projects including their finances.

Subcontract, schedule and supervise the activities of subcontractors.

What's Needed?

BS in Engineering, Construction Management or related engineering discipline

5 years of construction industry experience on large programs/projects.

At least 3 years of (Fire Alarm/BMS/Security) experience

Familiarity with NFPA 72, 101 and Fire Alarm Systems

What's in it for me?

Relocation: Not provided, but client covers:

Apartment, utilities, rental car, food, and travel while onsite.

Travel Home: 1-2 times per month, coordinated with site officers. Typically PMs are able to go home Thursday-Sunday.

Usually 4-10 hour days, but sometimes do 5-8 hour days.

On-Site Requirement: Full-time presence required.

Compensation:

FTEs eligible for a 15% PM incentive bonus.
