Data Engineer Master Data Management

CTG is seeking to fill a Data Engineer - Master Data Management opening for our client in Tallahassee, FL.

Location: Remote

Duration: 3 months

Duties:

Design, implement, and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Informatica (preferably Informatica SaaS).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and governance.

Develop and optimize ETL pipelines for managing and integrating master data.

Utilize Azure cloud services including Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage, API Management, and Bastion Jump Host.

Implement data lineage and cataloging solutions using MS Purview.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including data models, mappings, and workflows.

Support data governance policies and participate in Agile development sprints.

Analyze and resolve data issues, ensuring consistency and accuracy of master data across systems.

Utilize Git and Azure DevOps for source control and deployment processes.

Skills:

Strong proficiency in Informatica MDM (Informatica SaaS preferred)

Advanced SQL and scripting skills (Python, Perl, etc.)

Experience in Agile development environments

Knowledge of Azure cloud ecosystem including:

Azure Data Factory

Azure API Management

Azure Bastion Jump Host

Azure Blob Storage and Tables

MS Purview

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel

Familiarity with Git repositories and Azure DevOps

Experience:

3-5 years of proven experience as an MDM/Informatica Developer or in a similar role

Hands-on experience with Master Data Management principles and practices

Demonstrated success delivering data solutions in a cloud environment

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65.00/hour to $75.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
