Job Title: IT Business Services Principal Consultant

Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Business Services Principal Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive the cloud transformation agenda with key client stakeholders to ensure adoption of S/4HANA and cloud standardization.
Expectations and Tasks:
Collaborate with the customers' IT department and business stakeholders, cooperatively planning and coordinating service requests. Lead the customer engagement and ensure seamless alignment across multiple internal and external stakeholders such as SAP Services, SAP Product support, Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) Partners and customer's System Integrators or other Hosting Partners. Perform administrative tasks required to manage the engagement (staffing, reporting & controlling). Manage proactive delivery of service plans and reactive support requests. Host regular status and governance meetings with customers and other SAP stakeholders (extended account team). Drives end-to-end customer engagement including commercial responsibility (costs and profitability), customer expectations, delivery team success, customer reporting and invoicing. Achieve customer reference collateral and customer satisfaction responses. Deliver through proactive mindset and de-escalate critical customer situations. Protect and grow engagement scope and manage commercial change requests. Participate in team-internal knowledge sharing and coach other team members.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve five (5) years in the following:
Customer Management, including sharing monthly or quarterly reporting and advising on new SAP services and developments;
Identify solutions related service improvements and delivery opportunities;
Manage, plan, and schedule SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA software delivery;
Utilize SAP HR, SuccessFactors, SAP Banking, TM (Transportation Management), PP (Production Planning), EWM (Enterprise Warehouse Management), FICO (Finance and Controlling), GTS (Global Trade Services), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), SAP Solution Manager, and private/public SAP cloud solutions;
SAP Basis, ABAP, and Object Oriented ABAP; and
SAP Customer Service Support, including customer message processing and escalation handling using BCP and Service Now.
Experience must also involve two (2) years in the following:
Support SAP pre-sales and contract management throughout the customer lifecycle;
Business Continuity Management, including incident, problem, and change management, HA/DR, and DR test activities;
Utilize SAP cloud business, cloud and hybrid infrastructure, and cloud operations process; and
Architect and drive activities across both IT operational and project environments.
Travel: Position requires up to 20% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $139,995 - $238,085. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $164,700 - $280,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
