We are looking for a smart and motivated individual to take on the role of Sr. Manager of Operations and Insights for our Life Sciences business.
The role is a hybrid, featuring a mix of strategic planning, business analysis, sales and team optimization, project management, and business operations. The key responsibility for this role is to ensure our products and team support the messages delivered to the market serving as both a head of operations and as chief of staff to the Life Sciences Cloud leadership team.
Operational
The focus will be on program managing new product launches, forecasting, business performance tracking, and formulation of actionable recommendations. The successful candidate will regularly brief executives and own various cross-functional initiatives. Ideally, this person will feel comfortable interacting with senior management on a regular basis.
You must be able to build trusted relationships across the product organization and partner with leaders across sales, marketing, operations and finance.
Responsibilities and Deliverables
Product operations and forecasting using Salesforce reports, Tableau, and spreadsheets as needed
Build strong relationships across cross-functional global groups including product, operations, finance, sales, customers success, and marketing
Work closely with product leadership including Industry and GM's on day-to-day operations, key projects and strategic planning
Design and interpret key performance metrics; develop and action on plans to address identified weaknesses
Guide product and marketing leaders through new product introduction processes
Perform thorough data analysis to support any recommendations with data
Build executive presentations, crafting the messages of distribution, marketing and product leadership
Track and report on solution success, oversee solution maturation tollgates
Coordinate content/asset management including distribution, maintenance, refresh (with SME assistance)
Required Skills/Experience
BS/BA or equivalent work experience; MBA a plus, but not required
8+ years of work experience in business operations or management consulting
A strong understanding of the internal operations of an enterprise software company
Expertise in math and modeling spreadsheets such as for pipeline analysis and scenario planning
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication
Deep attention to detail and accuracy
Strong project coordination skills and desire to improve processes
Strong problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions
Results-oriented, self-starter, and a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
Strong executive presence and engagement skills
Highly collaborative style and team player
