Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? The main purpose of this job is to oversee and enhance our Domestic and International Wire department. This position will be responsible for leading and managing the wire transfer operations function within Wealth Management Operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, compliance, and overall operational effectiveness. This role involves overseeing a team, managing risk, developing strategies, and ensuring the smooth execution of wire transfers while adhering to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This individual will partner with internal partners, compliance, Risk. Legal, business groups to design, develop, produce, consult, and execute on a variety of programs and transformations. In addition, this role provides enhanced customer service, process improvements, and complex problem solving within the department. Incumbent must understand regulatory and organizational risks associated with work processes, how work is processed from beginning to end, and dependencies on other areas and departments. This candidate participates in Operations, firm, and/or industry initiatives providing process design, expert product knowledge, technical expertise, and problem solving unique to one or more specialty areas. This candidate will analyze and resolve escalated issues independently with minimal supervision, seeking assistance from Director as appropriate. This position contains increased elements of risk which are managed through operational reviews and system checks. This candidate must work effectively and collaboratively with multiple departments and stakeholders (internal and external) to achieve quality and timely delivery of solutions related to wire processing and team management. Identify process improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction by implementing best practices and leveraging technology to streamline operations Contribute to the continuous improvement of the risk and controls environment in US WM Operations through opportunity spotting and collaborating with partners on implementing regulatory, risk, or compliance initiatives. Resolve complex wire transfers issues while delivering exceptional customer service and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values and acting as a role model What do you need to succeed? Must-have Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with an ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management Advanced problem identification, analytical and resolution skills required to support escalated issue resolution and/or oversight requirements associated with complex processes Strong accountability mindset taking responsibility for all work activities and personal actions Ability to manage time between team and projects effectively Ability to deliver under high stress situations Exceptional attention to detail Ability to be flexible in working with stakeholders and colleagues at all experience levels. 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 5+ years of securities, banking, technology, risk and/or job specific industry experience 5+ years prior securities, banking, technology, risk and/or job specific related experience Extensive experience in wire transfer operations:Proven experience in managing wire transfer operations within a large financial institution is crucial. Securities license 99 (or able to obtain license within 120 days) 5+ years demonstrated and sound experience leading and managing a team Nice-to-have 4-year degree from an accredited university in communications, marketing, business, or related field 5+ years securities, leadership, change management, project management, analysis, and/or executive level communications/presentations experience. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
