If you are offered a position that requires a background check you will be provided additional documentation to complete once an offer has been extended. nnJob Details:nnJob SummarynnThis position as a Senior Maintenance technician is a skilled professional responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving facility and equipment, with a focus on complex systems and projects. The team member will need to be proficient and able to perform duties within the roles of a senior maintenance technician. The team member needs to be able to effectively work with members of management, operations/production personnel, as well as various contractors if needed. Team member is to be proficient in mechanical troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, PLC's, hydraulics and pneumatics. The team member will also be participating in our in house and external training programs, and other skill development in all areas of the maintenance department. Team member should be self-motivated, multi-tasking, and able to work in a fast-paced changing environment.nnEssential Duties and Responsibilities nn Perform and complete preventative maintenance, and repairs of plant production equipment including but not limited to:nn Mechanical repairs:nn Interpret prints/schematics of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.nn Equipment Maintenancenn Shaft seal replacementsn Motor replacement and alignmentsn Rebuilds of pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders, valves, pumps etc.n electrical troubleshooting including low and high voltage up to 480 volts.n PLC troubleshooting, wiring and logic.n Bearing, sprockets, conveyor systems maintenancen Vacuum pump knowledge and packaging machines.nn Box makers and taper machinesn Able to interpret and understand procedure manuals.n Oil Removal and System maintenance on hydraulic and vacuum equipment.nn Timely repair of plant equipment/systems with precision maintenance techniques as necessary to meet production rates and maintenance downtime goals.n Data entry daily into current CMMS system including preventative maintenance records, and inspection generated work orders for future work.n Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, including all safety protocols and company policies.n Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.nnQualificationsnn Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and technical specifications.n Proficient in the use of hand and power tools and measuring equipment.n Ability to work in a team environment.n Ability to self-motivate and work independently.n Comfortable operating at high elevations if neededn Ability to lift or move 75 pounds.n Ability to withstand changing environments.n Ability to operate an aerial lift and sit-down forklift.n Basic computer skills required.n Excellent verbal and written communication skillsnnEducationnn High school diploma, Industrial maintenance card or journeyman's license preferred.nnExperiencenn 5 + years industrial maintenance experience required. must have experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting including PLC's. Requiredn Computer Skills: Basic computer skills will be necessary to log information, to process daily work orders and to complete required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Requiredn Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively and basic math skills are necessary to perform this job at a satisfactorily level.
