Seasonal/Temporary Work from 8/20/2025 - 6/20/2026
Manually use hand tools such as shovels, scoops, brooms for duties such
as auguring grain, scooping grain, turning levers and knobs to dry
grain, sweep bins with hand broom after grain is augured; Load
agricultural products including corn, rice, soybeans, hay, mixed grain
into trucks without over or under filling and drive trucks to market or
storage facilities; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery,
self-propelled machinery to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops;
Operate, repair irrigation; Attach equipment; Attend to farm animals;
Repair and maintain machinery and equipment as well as farm buildings,
fences, and other structures; Must be able to work in dusty conditions
and be willing to work inside grain bins; Follow safety protocols and
wear appropriate employer provided safety equipment; Clean work areas
and maintain grounds. Must speak and understand English.
In view of the statutorily established basic function of the ES as a
no-fee labor exchange, that is, as a forum for bringing together
employers and job seekers, neither the ETA nor the SWAs are guarantors
of the accuracy or truthfulness of information contained on job orders
submitted by employers. Nor does any job order accepted or recruited
upon by the ES constitute a contractual job offer to which the ETA or a
SWA is in any way a party
