Details: An IT Operations Manager/Group Leader position in Cincinnati, OH 45215 is currently available at Belcan. This is a full-time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have a minimum of 5 years working and managing IT technical teams in the Managed Services industry. This job involves the technical leadership and oversight of our operations team. Candidates must possess good communication skills and strong leadership abilities. You will be leading and managing an IT service management team of ~47 team members, with 5-8 direct reports. Must be a US citizen and have a current CompTIA Security + CE certification, or equivalent, or be able to obtain one upon being hired. Candidates considered must also possess a Secret level security clearance or be able obtain one upon being hired JOB DUTIES:

Provide technical support and leadership of operations team, which consists of L1, L2, L3 resources

o L1 = Service Desk/Desk Side Support Admins o L2 = Windows, Linux, Storage, Networking and VMware Administrators o L3 = Windows, Linux, Storage, Networking and VMware Administrators

Drives the successful execution of project and report results to Belcan and customer leadership

Builds, develops, and grows the client relationship based around client expectations

Identifies problem areas and create action plans focused on continues improvement

Reviews time tickets, yearly performance reviews, and salary actions

Develops and maintains a career development plan for all staff members

Supports the proposal process by providing project estimates and work scope

Effectively communicates status to stakeholders, including organizational leadership, multifunctional teams, and the customer

Interfaces effectively with people at all levels and from diverse technical backgrounds

Provides leadership to teams and guidance to staff members of various experience levels

Responsible for the hiring and maintaining of staff levels as directed by the customer

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Managed Services industry successfully managing IT engineers with various technical disciplines

Experience in running ServiceNow reports, some administrative experience

MSP team management experience and working with KPIs, Metrics and SLAs

Advanced knowledge in data analysis and reporting

4 years' experience in system administration and support for Windows workstations/servers/OS, Linux workstations/servers/OS, Networks and Storage/Backup in classified program areas

ITIL Foundations v4, or the equivalent.

Advanced system troubleshooting and issue remediation

Advanced application troubleshooting and issue remediation

Small projects and process improvements

Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills

Must be able to work on-site in Cincinnati, OH. No remote candidates will be considered.

Due to the nature of the work performed, U.S. Citizenship is a requirement.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $125,000 to $135,000 annually. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
