What You Will Do:
This position supports Supply Chain and Commercial initiatives for several major retailers including Dollar General and Kroger. This role is a large contributor for the Commercial, Financial, and Supply Chain initiatives and successes of our Food, Value, and Club customers, which are strategic and represent future grow of CPD. Responsibilities include collaborating with teams, ensuring efficient operations, maximizing in store and online availability, OTIF performance, vendor managed inventory, lead time, consumption, shipments, forecast accuracy, shortage reductions, packaging requirements, and reverse logistics. The role involves analyzing data, creating reports, leading cross functional teams, and improving supply chain performance and team management.
In order to achieve the above the position will be responsible for:
Responsible for the development and execution of customer strategies: develop and execute customer strategies that optimize service levels, OTIF, and trade inventory while maintaining cost-to-serve targets, aligning with the overall supply chain and commercial objectives.
Responsible for the development, and success, of external relationships with the retailers this role will be managing including, but not limited to, Dollar General and Kroger. This includes developing strategic goals to support the customer's category goals, creating long term initiatives with the customer, influencing external stakeholders on purchasing decisions to support CPD brands, and ensuring ongoing collaboration and feedback.
Foster strong relationships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the CPD Commercial GM, Commercial Controller, Food/Value/Club Commerical VP, and senior-level accounts. Ensure effective communication and coordination to address issues and opportunities.
Contribute to cross-functional collaboration: Actively lead cross-functional meetings and discussions related to customer supply chain topics, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
Support process improvements: Assist in identifying opportunities for improving business processes and technologies to enhance supply chain activities impacting customer shipments and maximize In Store Availability (ISA) and online availability (OLA). Contribute to the implementation of improvement initiatives.
Collaborate on root cause analysis: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide support in identifying root causes of supply issues and various customer opportunities. Contribute to continuous improvement activities aimed at enhancing customer supply chain operations.
Assist in aligning with replenishment strategies: Lead efforts to align L'Oréal's capabilities with customers' replenishment strategies, ensuring that the supply chain is responsive to their needs and requirements.
Contribute to customer feedback initiatives: Collaborate with the CPD Commercial Teams on Voice of the Customer and Advantage Survey action plans, providing input and support in addressing customer feedback and driving improvements in the supply chain.
Assist in the forecasting process: Support the customer forecasting process by providing relevant data and insights to enhance accuracy and effectiveness. Collaborate with the Customer Supply Chain leader, Commerical Team Leads, and other stakeholders to align forecasting with the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Advocate for the customer within the team: Ensure that the customer's perspective and requirements are considered in day-to-day operations and decision-making processes. Influence future designs and initiatives align with customer strategies and expectations . Foster a customer-centric mindset within the team.
Support team development: Assist in providing guidance and support to the Customer Supply Chain team, helping to establish objectives, monitor performance, and identify development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture. Develop succession plans for immediate team.
Foster cross-functional partnerships: Collaborate with Operations functions, commercial teams, and finance to support the overall sales growth objectives of L'Oréal. Build strong relationships and promote effective cross-functional collaboration.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required .
7-10+ years' experience in FMCG Supply Chain or equivalent. At least 3 years in a customer-facing role.??
Excellent professional verbal & written communication skills, including being proficient in negotiation skills
Demonstrated analytical approach to management of supply chain interface between CPG organization and the customer.
Ability to influence e2e Supply Chain and other functions across reporting lines.
Proven ability to structure and conduct supply chain analyses with particular emphasis on customer collaborative results.
Effective in motivating and developing talent
History of engaging and leading teams while actively developing talent pipeline.
This position requires up to 25% travel domestically.

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:
Salary Range: $126,900 - $184,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
