Robert Half Management Resources is looking for an experienced VP/Director of Finance to support a manufacturing company in New Albany, Ohio. This is a contract opportunity with the potential for permanent conversion after a few months. This role will report directly to the CEO and have leadership over the full accounting and finance divisions of the a $160M+ manufacturing entity. Role will oversee a team of 6 and will be responsible for all financial reporting, KPI reporting/analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and all general financial strategy and analysis. The client is hoping to engage someone interested in a long term opportunity with the company at the VP of Finance/CFO level. This role is based 100% onsite at the client's facility in New Albany.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a six-member finance team, including a strong controller and FP& A professionals.

Oversee financial reporting and ensure timely closing of books on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Develop and implement strategic financial plans aligned with organizational goals.

Collaborate with private equity owners and board members to provide actionable financial insights.

Drive operational improvements by analyzing and interpreting key financial data.

Facilitate decision-making processes by preparing detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Provide guidance on budget preparation and monitor performance against financial targets.

Support minimal travel requirements to secondary company locations as needed.

Act as the strategic financial leader, bridging communication between the company and its stakeholders.

Requirements - Over 15 years of experience in finance, with a focus on leadership roles.

Proven expertise in the manufacturing industry; experience in the beauty sector is a plus.

Familiarity with private equity environments is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of accounting functions, financial reporting, and KPI analysis.

Hands-on experience with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

Skilled in budget preparation and monitoring financial performance.

Ability to lead and mentor a finance team to achieve organizational objectives.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.
