Description
Our client, in the construction industry, is in need for a Payroll Specialist to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis! This position requires expertise in PTO analysis, onboarding/offboarding employees, arranging trainings, payroll processing for over 100 employees on a weekly basis. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while fostering positive relationships with employees.
Responsibilities:
-Process full-cycle construction payroll for over 100 employees on a weekly basis, exempt and non-exempt employees
-Onboarding/offboarding employees, HR administration, benefits administration
-Ensuring employee compliance and up to date on trainings and certifications
-Process garnishments, calculating payroll based on project and hours worked
Requirements
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
QuickBooks experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Experienced processing full-cycle payroll for at least 50 employees
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all financial matters.
