You Are:
The Logistics & Supply Chain Solutions Director will be responsible for developing and managing effective supply chain strategies to ensure services are delivered in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner. This role requires staying up to date on best practices, trends, and regulations to implement innovative logistics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
The Work:
Strategic Planning & Implementation:
Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with business goals, including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
Performance Analysis & Improvement:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and identify areas for improvement to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
People Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics and supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Cost Management:
Negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and identify opportunities to reduce supply chain costs.
Risk Management:
Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure supply chain resilience and business continuity.
Technology Implementation:
Evaluate and implement new technologies to automate processes, improve data analytics, and enhance supply chain visibility.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and operations, to ensure alignment and achieve organizational objectives.
Systems Management:
Implement and manage systems and solutions for logistics, transportation, and supply chain systems.
Manage the sustainment and operations of these solutions for improved efficiencies and adoption of emerging technology.
Mission Partner Engagement:
Engage and coordinate with the mission partners in the logistics, transportation, and supply chain ecosystem.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic supply chain plans and processes.
Monitor, evaluate, and improve the performance of all logistics processes.
Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery times for clients.
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and cost-savings.
Lead the development, implementation, and review of logistics policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
10 years of relevant work experience.
Experience leading a program.
Experience leading large scale implementations.
Experience managing budget for a portfolio or business group.
Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and information technology (IT) systems relevant to supply chain operations.
Preferred Skills:
MBA, MS, or MA.
Experience working with Defense Agency and/or Intelligence Community (IC).
Knowledge of Federal acquisition process.
Knowledge of Federal budgeting/financial management.
Consulting industry or relevant Defense agency/service experience.
CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), or SC Pro (Supply Chain Professional) certifications are a plus.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
