Description We are looking for a dedicated and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our team in Darien, Illinois. This part-time role offers flexibility in hours and the potential to transition into a long-term position through a Contract to Permanent arrangement. You will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring seamless communication within a growing, dynamic company.

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, recordkeeping, and document preparation.

Manage client accounts by updating payment records and maintaining accuracy in QuickBooks.

Coordinate email correspondence and respond to inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner.

Handle inbound and outbound calls, ensuring clear communication and exceptional customer service.

Schedule appointments and manage calendars to optimize workflow efficiency.

Process invoices, approve payments, and accurately record financial transactions.

Deposit checks and maintain proper documentation for financial records.

Assist with local errands and tasks requiring reliable transportation.

Create reports and presentations using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Ensure all administrative processes run smoothly and contribute to the overall productivity of the team. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative roles, showcasing strong organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Familiarity with QuickBooks and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a detail-oriented approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Ability to work independently and remain proactive during slower periods.

Reliable transportation for occasional local errands.

High level of trustworthiness and discretion in handling sensitive information.
