Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Engineering department. In this long-term contract role, you will provide essential support to engineering teams, ensuring the seamless execution of projects and operational tasks. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment and occasionally assist with hands-on tasks at local customer sites.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate logistics and scheduling to support engineering project timelines.

Manage inventory and ensure accurate tracking of supplies and equipment.

Communicate effectively with vendors to facilitate procurement and service needs.

Conduct application testing and document outcomes as required.

Organize and maintain workspaces to optimize efficiency and functionality.

Provide hands-on support for local customer site visits as needed.

Respond to inbound calls and emails promptly to address inquiries and requests.

Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

Schedule appointments and meetings using Microsoft Outlook.

Deliver exceptional customer service in all interactions.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in an administrative within an engineering department or support role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for email correspondence and calls.

Ability to manage schedules and appointments effectively.

Experience handling inbound and outbound calls.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and data entry skills.

Willingness to work occasional overtime as required.

Ability to visit local customer sites and assist with hands-on tasks.
