Construction Field Technician

Responsibilities

Perform testing and inspection of construction activities, including concrete, soils, masonry, asphalt, aggregate, and reinforcing steel.

Review project drawings and specifications.

Report test results and timesheets to the Project Manager daily.

Maintain good written and verbal communication skills.

Utilize basic computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Consider candidates with experience and certifications such as NICET, ACI Field, ODOT, NETTCP, and/or ICC.

Essential Skills

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of basic computer software such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Willingness to work outdoors on construction sites in various weather conditions.

Willingness to work a variable schedule and overtime as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma.

Preferred experience in construction or trades (e.g., concrete, masonry, general labor).

Entry-level candidates with a degree in civil engineering, construction, or related fields will be considered.

ACI, Nuclear Gauge, NETTCP, or other related CMT certifications are a plus.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
