Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. This position is within the waste management industry and offers a Contract to permanent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to address customer concerns, process service requests, and ensure smooth communication between departments.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with various departments to resolve customer disputes promptly and effectively.

Communicate customer needs, concerns, and opportunities to both team members and management.

Conduct customer interviews and accurately input information into computer systems.

Prepare and manage service contracts, determine charges, collect deposits, and handle change of address requests.

Process payments, perform bank deposits, and handle production paperwork and general office tasks.

Address billing complaints and refer service-related issues to the appropriate department for resolution.

Provide exceptional customer service to foster goodwill and maintain strong client relationships.

Resolve customer problems or complaints with cost-effective and environmentally sound solutions.

Promote and offer new or additional services to customers during interactions. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume customer service or call center environment.

High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication; strong keyboarding and typing skills are essential.

Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers.

Prior experience in the solid waste industry or a related field is preferred.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, is highly desirable. TalentMatch®
