Task Order Program Manager

At GDIT a Task Order Program Manager provides operational leadership and oversight for the IT modernization effort during planning, design, and implementation phases for multiple Air Force and Space Force bases globally. The Task Order Program Manager will remotely oversee the implementation effort at these bases and will have the responsibility to provide management, schedule, direction, administration and quality assurance in its execution.
The PM is required to provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the TO, including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall TO performance. The PM is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the TO, to include both technical issues and businesses processes.
HOW A TASK ORDER PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Directs, coordinates and manages overall Task Order functions.
Act as the primary point of contact for key customer engagements, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations. Proactively manage customer relationships, addressing feedback and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Evaluates overall Task Order management to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work, financial and business development activities.
Supervises assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate supervisors, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.
Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.
Supports the profitability and revenue growth of assigned program control accounts.
Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, consulting agreements and other program documents.
Coordinates and monitors sub-contractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables and finances for assigned control accounts.
Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to this position. Equivalent years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Required Experience:
5+ years of increasing responsibilities working large programs and leading large teams
Strong demonstrable fundamental technical knowledge of networks, systems, and general IT systems (email, phones, word processors etc.)
Thorough understanding of Wired, Wireless, and RF networking and general IT functions
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and collaborative skills
Security Clearance Level: DoD Secret Level Clearance required
Required Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or the ability to obtain either of the two.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills applied to the development and presentation of technical materials appropriate to a broad spectrum of audiences.
Adept at interfacing with Government at senior leader levels and representing the interests of GDIT
Preferred Skills:
Background in EVM performance reporting monitoring and metric development.

The likely salary range for this position is $135,075 - $182,749. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
