Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and ambitious Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Trevose, Pennsylvania. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to enhance their accounting expertise within the paper and packaging industry. Responsibilities:

Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing journal entries and ensuring accurate account consolidation.

Assist in the creation, review, and analysis of daily and monthly financial reports and statements.

Perform account and bank reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data.

Aid in the preparation and submission of tax forms to ensure regulatory compliance.

Organize and compile financial documentation to support audit readiness.

Provide backup support for payroll, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and 401(k) administrative tasks.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in corporate accounting, including internships or entry-level roles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with intermediate skills such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas.

Strong organizational capabilities with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a collaborative attitude.

Familiarity with financial software or ERP systems is a plus.

Experience in the distribution or logistics industry is preferred but not mandatory.
