We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join a dynamic employment law firm based in Roseville, California. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential support to a team of 4 attorneys while working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. If you excel in managing litigation tasks, maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines, and adapting to diverse assignments, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to a team of four attorneys in a high-volume environment.

Maintain and manage attorney calendars, ensuring all court deadlines and reminders are scheduled accurately.

Draft, format, proofread, and edit legal documents, including pleadings, templates, and correspondence.

File legal documents electronically with California courts, ensuring compliance with court procedures and deadlines.

Utilize and adapt to the firm's macro system for efficient legal document management.

Organize and maintain legal files, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks.

Track attorney requests and assignments using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Perform administrative duties, including managing check logs and generating reports from Excel.

Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless workflow and communication.

Requirements - Several years of experience in litigation support within a legal environment.

Exceptional attention to detail with strong proofreading and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, including data tracking and file management.

Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a detail-oriented and approachable demeanor.

Familiarity with legal software tools, such as macro systems, CompuLaw, and case management systems.

Ability to meet deadlines consistently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and other relevant software. TalentMatch®
