Key Responsibilities:

Review daily production schedule, transport materials to various machines and departments designated on the shop order or as directed.

Accurately complete all required production-related documentation and paperwork.

Ensure proper part identification and maintain traceability of all materials handled.

Re-rack unused materials according to established guidelines, calculate and record material dimensions and weights as necessary.

Conduct pre-shift inspections and safely operate material handling equipment.

Perform routine sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment, including clearing aisles of debris.

Organize and stock raw materials in designated work areas.

Weigh, record, and dispose of machining and saw shop scrap, ensuring proper segregation and placement in appropriate scrap containers.

Perform basic grinding to remove burrs, flashing, or nubs from parts as needed.

Build custom crates, and perform banding and skidding of materials for transportation and shipping per shop order specifications.

Ensure proper use and care of equipment, regular inspections, adherence to preventive maintenance and prompt reporting of issues or concerns

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices for material handling at all times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing

Forklift certification a plus (or ability to be certified)

Basic computer and data entry skills

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Ability to analyze, interpret and follow both oral and written instructions.

Must demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team,

Ability to assess situations effectively, implement appropriate solutions, and perform well under deadline-driven conditions.

Excellent attendance

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:

Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, pull and lift throughout a 12- hour period. (Our lift limit is 65lbs)
