Job Title: Payroll Compliance Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Compliance Specialist to oversee payroll compliance for employees, with a focus on prevailing wage and IRA compliance. This role is integral to ensuring that all payroll practices align with state-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee payroll compliance for both IRA and non-IRA employees.

Conduct internal audits by comparing current records to expected payroll calculations, correcting discrepancies before external audits.

Manage prevailing wage calculations and compliance, addressing any concerns proactively.

Implement payroll corrections for historical records, ensuring alignment with white sheets and operational payroll data.

Utilize LCP tracker to enhance payroll tracking and reporting.

Provide guidance on payroll process improvements to stabilize compliance.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in using LCP tracker.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Payroll, Prevailing Wage, and IRA compliance.

Strong audit mindset, with the ability to compare current records to expected payroll calculations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $55.00/hr.
