A highly prestigious NFP (approximately $120+ million in budget) is seeking an exceptional Grant Manager. They are an incredible organization with a tremendous reach and over the past 7+ years have 4x their budget!!! This is a post grant & contract award position working within the finance and accounting team, partnering with the program team. This role is NOT a pre-award position.
The role will report into the VP of Finance, the VP is flexible to call the position Director of Grants and Contracts (based on experience).
The VP of Finance will look at a non-manager (i.e. Senior Grant Accountant) ready to take the next step.
You should be coming out of a NFP with at least $50 million in budget.
This role is fully remote, though you must live within travel distance of NYC and work EST time zone.
As always, these are permanent, full time, fully benefited salaried positions (these are NOT temp, or temp to perm).
Compensation is based on experience:
The range is between $100k - $120k base
What you will do?
Part of the finance and accounting team, you will handle post grants/contracts awarded to the organization
They have about 250+ grants and about 100+ program staff that you will work with
Working with the analysis of the grants along with the accounting functions
Working with federal, city and state funders
Working heavily in Excel
Managing a team of 2-3 staff
Who are you?
BA/BS in Accounting/Finance/Economics is required
5+ years of grant accounting experience
NFP post Grant accounting experience is required
Experience with Federal, city and state funders is required
Experience with DYCD, DOHMH highly preferred
Grant analysis experience is highly preferred
Exceptional Excel is required, vlookups and pivot tables, there will be an assessment
Exceptional communications skills are required. A great dynamic personality and the ability to work along your fellow colleagues is crucial. He or she must be able to effectively collaborate with individuals both inside and outside the company.
