We seek a Per Diem Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. Per Diem Pharmacists are classified as temporary employees and work on an intermittent basis.

This position will cover PTO in area of 13 sites in Missouri and if willing Illinois

Missouri locations: Cape Girardeau, Ladue, Wentzville, Potosi, Warrenton, Union, St. Charles, St. Peters, Hannibal, Sikeston, Farmington, St. Louis, and Kirksville

Possibly Illinois: Granit City, Maryville, and Belleville

Our pharmacies are Monday-Friday and will include an 8 hours shift between the hours of 8:00 - 5:30, with a 30 minutes lunch.

Primary Responsibilities:

Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners

Provides information to customers about medications and their use

Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service

Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy

Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy

Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications:

BA or PharmD in Pharmacy

Current pharmacist license in state of Missouri

Willing to complete LAI Training and administer LAI

Preferred Qualifications:

Retail Pharmacy Experience

Long Term Care Experience

The hourly range for this role is $43.17 to $84.95 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
