Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Technical Service Manager at our Newtown Square, PA location to act as a trusted technical advisor in the safeguarding and optimization of customer investments into SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS).
Expectations and Tasks:
Work as a team with CDMs and ECS internal service delivery to serve and delight our customers, by providing quality services throughout their entire lifecycle. Own the technical discussions with the customer and act as the orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the SAP delivery organization as required. Support the CDM and the TechOps teams for execution of the service delivery plan and calendar. Analyze customer technical requirements and organize / co-ordinate experts from ECS Delivery team and drive those topics to resolution to the satisfaction of the customer. Support the customer or SAP services teams to build customer-specific cloud roadmaps that cover topics around Infrastructure Architecture, Technical Managed services, security, and integration. Assess customer security and network requirements to ensure the SAP security architecture framework can meet customer requirements. Conduct technical and operational reviews (monthly) to measure the progress against defined Cloud architecture and roadmap. Establish and drive resolution plans to resolve issues and problems to completion. Support the migration roadmap together with partners, System Integrators, and/or SAP Professional Services.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve five (5) years in the following:
SAP architecture and support;
Drive strategic SAP direction through determination of short- and long-term IT investment needs;
Advise customers on technical requirements, constraints, and support in technical situations, including IT critical throughout lifecycle;
Technical planning, implementation, configuration, and integration of SAP solutions;
Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and blended approaches; and
S/4HANA architecture, conversion, migration path, methodology and tools, including BW on HANA, SDI, SDA, HA/DR setup, RTO and RPO, HSR and BW MultiHost.
Certification in AWS, Azure or GCP required.
Travel: Position requires up to 30% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated client sites.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $125,611 - $200,200. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $133,700 - $227,500. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
