THE POSITION

Carbon County Emergency Management is looking for an Administrative Assistant 1 to join our team. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will perform daily operations of the office including development, establishment, and revision of office and operating procedures. Our team will rely on you to routinely maintain a complete and accurate account of all expenses associated with the operations of the office and file quarterly reports with the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency for reimbursement of personnel and administrative expenses. You will also prepare and submit various monthly reports, help with meetings and training conferences, and assist other administrative duties as needed. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment. 40 hours per week.
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
