Job Details:**
This position is responsible for maintaining high production, quality,
and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. Key
responsibilities include:
Production Management: Essential understanding and control of
the production process, accurate record keeping, general line
maintenance, and staffing.
Daily Operations: Checking daily production orders to ensure
customer order fulfillment, ensuring all positions are filled before
production line start-up, overseeing Team Member morning exercises
and job rotation to facilitate ergonomics, and ensuring all
machinery performs to the highest standards.
Safety and Compliance: Ensuring all workstations pass USDA
Inspection, promoting safety daily and through monthly safety
meetings, and ensuring accurate shipments, inventory rotation, and
proper coding of products.
Team Leadership: Communicating company benefits and compensation
policies to Team Members, providing encouragement to build the best
team possible, and performing human relations functions such as
training, retaining, and counseling on personal and professional
issues.
Problem Solving: Overseeing various processing operations,
collaborating with other supervisors to solve problems, keeping
records of reworked or returned products, and providing continuous
education on the importance of quality.
Additional responsibilities may arise as needed.
Schedule: Monday- Thursday 5:00 A.M-5:00 P.M.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma required; additional education
such as special training, vocational school, or college courses is
preferred.
Experience: 1 year in a manufacturing environment and prior
supervisory/lead experience preferred or equivalent educational
experience typically acquired through a bachelor\'s degree.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are helpful.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential.
Supervisory Experience: Responsible for supervising a group of
personnel performing similar and related tasks.
Travel: 1-5 trips per year.
